KuCoin Becomes an Arc Mainnet Launch Partner and Adds Direct USDC Transfers

Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin has joined Arc as a mainnet launch partner. The integration allows eligible users to transfer USDC directly between KuCoin and the Arc network from the first day of mainnet operation.

Support for the new network gives exchange users another way to access the Arc ecosystem, which is focused on digital payments, treasury management, tokenized assets, and programmable financial services.

KuCoin Enables Direct USDC Deposits and Withdrawals via Arc

Eligible KuCoin users can deposit and withdraw USDC directly through the Arc network. This removes the need to move funds through a separate platform or use an external blockchain bridge first.

Reducing the number of intermediate steps may make Arc-based applications easier to access while lowering the operational complexity associated with moving assets between different blockchain networks.

Users should still carefully verify the selected network before sending funds. If USDC is transferred through an unsupported or incorrect blockchain, the assets may be lost.

Arc Is Focused on Payments and Programmable Finance

Arc is positioned as infrastructure for financial applications that are gradually moving from traditional systems to blockchain-based models.

Its main intended use cases inсlude digital payments, corporate treasury operations, tokenized assets, and programmable financial services.

Within this model, USDC serves as a dollar-denominated settlement asset that users and organizations can use across supported applications on Arc.

KuCoin, in turn, acts as one of the on- and off-ramps into the ecosystem, allowing eligible customers to move USDC between the exchange and the network.

The Integration Could Simplify Institutional and Corporate Workflows

The partnership is designed not only for retail users. A direct connection to the exchange could also benefit businesses and institutional participants that use USDC for onchain operations.

Organizations may be able to acquire USDC on KuCoin and transfer it directly to Arc without having to navigate multiple external services.

This approach could simplify liquidity and treasury management, particularly in scenarios where companies use blockchain infrastructure for settlement or tokenized assets.

However, the availability of specific applications and financial services will depend on Arc’s continued development as well as the regulatory requirements that apply to different users and jurisdictions.

KuCoin Is Expanding Direct Access to Emerging Blockchain Networks

KuCoin CEO B.C. Wong said that reliable access to blockchain infrastructure will play an important role in the next stage of adoption as traditional financial systems and onchain services become increasingly interconnected.

Early exchange support can make new networks easier to use by giving users a familiar platform through which they can acquire, deposit, and withdraw supported assets.

For emerging blockchain networks, this can also matter in terms of liquidity and accessibility because users do not need to search for additional bridges or intermediary services on their own.

Arc Integration Is Part of KuCoin’s Broader Strategy

Support for Arc continues KuCoin’s broader strategy of expanding the number of blockchain networks available for stablecoin transfers and access to new onchain applications.

KuCoin has operated since 2017 and serves more than 45 million users across over 200 countries and regions. The platform provides access to more than 1,500 digital assets across a broad range of trading and investment products.

The company also emphasizes the development of infrastructure aligned with security and compliance requirements. KuCoin cites certifications including SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO/IEC 27701:2019, ISO 22301:2019, and ISO/IEC 42001:2023.

In recent years, the exchange has also expanded its presence in regulated markets. Among the milestones highlighted by the company are AUSTRAC registration in Australia and a MiCA license in Europe.

Direct USDC Transfers Could Lower the Barrier to Using Arc

The main significance of the new integration is that users no longer need additional services to move USDC into Arc.

The fewer steps required to enter a new blockchain ecosystem, the easier it becomes for both individual users and businesses to interact with its applications.

The KuCoin and Arc partnership also reflects a broader trend toward direct connections between centralized exchanges, stablecoins, and specialized blockchain networks focused on payments and financial infrastructure.
