What is “Network Confirmation”?
After funds are sent, the transaction is broadcasted to the network for processing and inclusion in a block. The process of adding a transaction to the block structure is called transaction confirmation. Each new block added to the blockchain is considered one confirmation. Once your transaction reaches the required number of confirmations, the cryptocurrency becomes available for further use.
Here are some factors that can affect the speed of transaction confirmation:
- Network congestion
- Transaction fee size
- Internet connection speed and others
Please note that the number of confirmations required for funds to be credited is determined by each platform individually and may vary for each currency according to their own security standards.
The average confirmation time ranges from 30 minutes to several hours but can take several days if the network is congested.
